Legendary girl group Fin.K.L is returning as a complete group after about 21 years.

Gemstone E&M announced on the 21st, "We have joined hands with the four members LEE HYORI, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin, and Sung Yu-ri to prepare for Fin.K.L's full-group official activities."

For this upcoming endeavor, Gemstone E&M will handle planning and operations in collaboration with the four members and related parties. Jason Lee, head of group management at Gemstone E&M, shared his aspirations, saying, "Fin.K.L is an artist with monumental symbolism in the history of Korean popular music. We will sequentially unveil diverse activities to deliver new memories and emotions to the fans who have steadfastly waited for and supported Fin.K.L over a long time."

This marks a full-fledged return for Fin.K.L as a complete team for the first time in 21 years, following their digital single album "Forever Fin.K.L" released in 2005. They previously reunited after 14 years through the 2019 JTBC variety show "Camping Club" and released a special new song, but that project was heavily characterized as a broadcast-linked event.

Debuting in the music scene in 1998, Fin.K.L opened wide the golden age of girl groups by scoring mega-hits with every track they released, starting with their debut song "Blue Rain," followed by "To My Boyfriend," "Eternal Love," "Pride," "White," and "Now." Ranging from icons of innocence to confident and unconventional charisma across a broad conceptual spectrum, they swept music grand prizes from the three major broadcast networks and enjoyed syndrome-level popularity, leaving an indelible footprint in the history of K-pop girl groups.

Following Fin.K.L's activities, LEE HYORI has continued a peerless career as a superstar, solo singer, and entertainer symbolizing her era, while Ock Joo-hyun has established herself as one of South Korea's top musical divas. Lee Jin and Sung Yu-ri have also received widespread love across acting and variety entertainment.
