Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants extended his hitting streak to three games, while Kim Ha-seong of the Atlanta Braves remained silent for the fifth consecutive game.

Starting as the number two batter and right fielder in an away game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB) held at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on September 21 (KST), Lee recorded one hit in two at-bats and drew one walk.

After flying out to the outfield in the first inning and drawing a walk in the third, Lee hit a single to right field in the sixth and was substituted out during the defense in the bottom of the seventh.

Lee's season batting average stands at 0.276.

San Francisco lost 1-3.

Kim Ha-seong played as the number nine batter and shortstop in an away game against the Houston Astros, ending his offensive performance with two strikeouts, a groundout, and a flyout.

By defeating Houston 4-2, Atlanta secured its first National League (NL) East division title in three years.

Meanwhile, the Boston Red Sox also clinched a postseason berth as an American League (AL) wildcard.

As a result, all three AL East teams—the Tampa Bay Rays, New York Yankees, and Boston—received invitations to the fall classic.

In the NL, three teams have advanced to the postseason as division champions: Atlanta, the Milwaukee Brewers (Central Division), and the Dodgers (Western Division).
