Kim Tae-nyeon, head of the Democratic Party of Korea's constitutional amendment task force, outlined the direction of constitutional revision at the task force's press conference held at the National Assembly this morning (September 20), stating, "We will properly engrave the history of democracy, expand the rights of the people, firmly establish the separation of powers, and make popular sovereignty even clearer." He added, "We judge that it is most feasible to distance the vote as much as possible from the general election the year after next, submitting a separately agreed-upon constitutional amendment to a national referendum about a year before the general election, or in the first half of next year at the latest."

More details will be reported in the video.
