A worker in his 60s has died after falling about 4 meters while working at a factory in Asan, South Chungcheong Province.

According to the South Chungcheong Fire Headquarters, at around 9:55 a.m. yesterday (September 18), a worker in his 60s, identified as A, fell about 4 meters while installing air conditioning and other HVAC equipment on the second floor of a factory building in Eumbong-myeon, Asan.

Emergency responders from the 119 rescue services arrived at the scene and transported A to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest, but he ultimately passed away.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
