Lee Jung-hoo (28) has hit double-digit home runs for the first time in three years since advancing to Major League Baseball (MLB).

Playing as a key hitter for the San Francisco Giants, Lee hit a solo home run today (September 19) in an away game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

With this, Lee reached his 10th home run of the season, extending his personal career high.

Lee hit just 2 home runs in his debut season in 2024 and recorded 8 home runs last year.

Starting as the cleanup hitter and right fielder, Lee stepped up to the plate as the leadoff hitter in the top of the 2nd inning with his team trailing 0-1.

Facing Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow on a 2-2 ball-count, he squarely hit a knuckle curve dropping down the middle and sent it over the right-field fence.

This marks Lee's first home run in 39 days since the game against the Houston Astros on August 11.

In the top of the 3rd inning with two outs and runners on first and second, as San Francisco turned the game around to 2-1, he was caught out on a fly ball to center field.

In the top of the 6th, he retired on a fly ball to right field, and in his final plate appearance in the top of the 9th, he was out on a foul fly to the third baseman.

Going 1-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored, Lee brought his season batting average to 0.274 (146 hits in 532 at-bats).

The Dodgers won the game 8-2, powered by five home runs.

Kim Ha-seong's (30) team, the Atlanta Braves, defeated the Houston Astros 6-2 to advance to the postseason.

As the leader of the National League (NL) East, Atlanta recorded 90 wins and 64 losses with a winning percentage of 0.584, securing at least a wildcard ticket.

Kim Ha-seong did not play in the game and guarded the bench.

The San Diego Padres, featuring Song Sung-mun (30), defeated the Miami Marlins 8-2 to extend their winning streak to three games.

Song Sung-mun also did not make an appearance in the game.
