All of the top 5 most heavily congested highway sections during last year's Chuseok holiday were concentrated on the Seohaean Expressway, data showed.

In particular, the section heading from Iljik Junction to Geumcheon Interchange recorded the longest cumulative traffic congestion time during the holiday period, at 67 hours.

Over the past five years, a total of 61 highway traffic accidents occurred during Chuseok holidays, with accidents frequently caused by "driver distraction."
