At around 1:20 a.m. today (September 19), a passenger car collided with a 25-ton trailer at the 107.4-kilometer mark of the Seobu Inland Expressway toward Iksan, near Seonjang-myeon in Asan, South Chungcheong Province.

The driver of the passenger car, a person in their 40s, was killed in the accident.

Police believe the car struck the rear of the trailer, which was traveling ahead in the second lane, and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
