At around 8:05 PM today (September 18), a 1-ton truck and a bicycle collided on a road in Namil-myeon, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

As a result of the accident, the bicycle rider, a person in their 60s identified as A, died at the scene.

Police are investigating the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
