Cho Min, the CEO of a domestic cosmetic brand established in November 2024 and daughter of Cho Kuk, head of the Innovation Policy Institute of the Rebuilding Korea Party, revealed that her scheduled home shopping broadcast appearance was abruptly canceled for reasons that remain unclear.

Taking to her social media on September 18, CEO Cho stated, "As I received many inquiries regarding the sudden cancellation of my home shopping appearance, I am sharing the facts after looking into the matter." She added, "About 90 minutes before the broadcast, I was notified by the home shopping channel that they were canceling due to concerns over internal and external controversies." She continued, "It is regrettable since I had prepared a lot, but I am satisfied that we were able to run a great alternative broadcast thanks to the swift response of the live commerce platform."

Previously, immediately after being notified of the cancellation, Cho announced, "Today's live broadcast has been canceled due to sudden circumstances on the home shopping side." She added, "To apologize to those who had been waiting, we will provide free shipping for orders over 50,000 won at our own expense."

Later, an alternative live commerce sales chart directly released by Cho showed that total order amounts reached 73,764,790 won. Following the broadcast, Cho Min expressed her thoughts, saying, "Although I couldn't appear on home shopping, we generated home shopping-level sales. I truly thank everyone who watched until late at night."
