A small kitten trots out onto an American baseball stadium.

It looked like it might be lost and wandering around, but this cat is actually a special pitcher.

A Minor League Baseball team in the U.S. brought in a stray cat rescued last month to host a unique first pitch event.

Given the name Chipper Jones through an online fan vote, the cat put on the cutest first pitch in the world by walking toward home plate following treats instead of throwing a ball.

Known for various unusual first pitches, the minor leagues have previously featured a wide array of pitchers, including a rabbit and a circus acrobat.
