The South Korean athletic delegation for the Asian Games has arrived in the host city of Nagoya, Japan. The athletes have resolved to prove all the time they have spent preparing.

Departing from the Jincheon National Training Center at dawn and gathering at Incheon International Airport, the main delegation of 122 athletes—including badminton world number one An Se-young—shouted a joint chant of "Fighting!" to steel their resolve before departing for the battleground.

[Fighting!]

South Korean table tennis star Shin Yubin and badminton men's doubles world number one Seo Seung-jae served as the flag-bearers for departure, standing at the very front of the delegation.

[Seo Seung-jae / National Badminton Team: I feel honored to take on the role of representative flag-bearer for the main South Korean delegation.]

[Yubin / National Table Tennis Team: I will take responsibility and work hard to achieve great results.]

Shin Yubin, who drew attention even in China three years ago during her podium ceremony at her first Asian Games, promised to perform a happy ceremony from the highest spot once again.

[Yubin / National Table Tennis Team: I want to win medals in all events, and after securing victories, I will quickly think of a celebration to show everyone a great appearance.]

Upon arriving in Nagoya, the delegation set foot in the host city amid the enthusiastic cheers of local Korean residents.

[Lee Sang-hyun / Chef de Mission of the South Korean Delegation: Our delegation will approach this with a determination for absolute victory so that our Taegeukgi can flutter even more proudly in Nagoya.]

While the athletes completed their registration procedures for the athletes' village, only delegation officials attended the village welcoming ceremony, raising the Taegeukgi amid a warm welcome from organizing committee officials to solidify their resolve.

The full-scale race has begun for the Taegeuk warriors to maintain third place overall for the third consecutive time and reap the fruits of the sweat they have shed so far.
