A fire broke out at a villa in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, at around 8:20 PM yesterday (September 17).

As a result of the fire, a man in his 60s living in the villa suffered burns, and eight other residents inhaled smoke.

Eight of the nine injured individuals were transported to a hospital, but they are reportedly not in life-threatening condition.

Fire authorities dispatched to the scene after receiving a report extinguished the fire at around 8:50 PM and are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the scale of the property damage.
