Hyoyeon, the leader of HRS—a Girls' Generation unit group gaining love as a sixth-generation idol—spoke candidly about the group's identity and behind-the-scenes stories from her Girls' Generation days.

Appearing on the YouTube channel "Calm Down Man" on the 16th, Hyoyeon discussed the rising popularity of her YouTube channel "Hyoyeon's Level Up," which surpassed 680,000 subscribers, explaining, "I tend to be shy and am not great at small talk, so a talk show format wasn't easy. However, the production team noticed my humorous side in front of close friends and created the current fake Kim Hyoyeon sketch concept, allowing me to express myself like myself."

Hyoyeon generated buzz by honestly capturing the process of debuting in HRS alongside Sooyoung and Yuri on the channel. Regarding this, Hyoyeon added, "Many people misunderstand that it's scripted. While the ad-libs in between are mine, there is a general flow with a script. When we talk among ourselves, the members pull out things not even in the script so well that the reactions came out fun."

Hyoyeon also opened up honestly about her past days promoting with Girls' Generation. She confessed, "They did give me prominent parts like dance breaks, but I think a singer should sing more than dance. I practiced vocals hard and practiced dancing hard for seven years, but as the time to use my voice became scarce, I lost confidence. I was a bit upset back then."

When asked about Girls' Generation's reaction to HRS achieving good results after releasing their debut album "Skibidi" last August, Hyoyeon replied, "They love it." Emphasizing Girls' Generation's strong bond by saying, "Because we do sketches, people think we fought, but we didn't," she previewed long-term activities by stating, "As much as many people have loved us, HRS is going to keep going."
