The movie "The Assassin(s)" has successfully wrapped up its red carpet event and world premiere screening at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival.

After being officially invited to the Gala Presentation section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival and drawing attention by selling out all public screening sessions, the film held its world premiere on Wednesday, September 16, local time, at Roy Thomson Hall.

Prior to the screening, the red carpet event was graced by Director Hur Jin-ho—who has been invited to TIFF for the third time following "Dangerous Liaisons" and "A Normal Family"—along with Yoo Hai-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Minho, who showed perfect chemistry in "The Assassin(s)".

"The Assassin(s)" proved the passionate interest of global audiences by selling out all 4,256 seats across its four public screenings at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. In particular, its first public screening and world premiere took place at Roy Thomson Hall, the festival's main theater, adding to its significance. After the screening concluded, Director Hur Jin-ho and the cast shared meaningful moments with local audiences, expressing their gratitude for the enthusiastic cheers and applause.

Director Hur Jin-ho shared his thoughts, saying, "It feels extraordinary to meet the Toronto International Film Festival audiences once again with 'The Assassin(s)', a film we poured a lot of hard work into with many people. I am deeply grateful for the enthusiastic response." Yoo Hai-jin expressed his joy at attending the festival, stating, "It was very special to watch the movie together with an audience that filled a large theater. Hearing the loud applause made it a wonderful time, as it felt like they thoroughly enjoyed the work."

Park Hae-il revealed his unique feelings, saying, "We are soon meeting audiences in Korea as well, but ahead of that, it was a truly special experience to be able to face local audiences directly through the Toronto International Film Festival." Lee Minho conveyed his gratitude to the audience, stating, "I am truly thrilled and happy to visit Toronto with 'The Assassin(s)'. In addition to the enthusiastic reactions from audiences, rave reviews from film industry insiders followed. Director Peter Chan, who directed "Comrades: Almost a Love Story", praised the film, saying, "It stepped outside familiar territory and created a perfectly successful movie like a slam dunk." Anita Lee, TIFF Chief Programming Officer, expressed high satisfaction with the successfully concluded world premiere, noting, "It was a truly successful world premiere. The audience was completely immersed in the screen, and the theater was as quiet as a pin dropping. Everyone leaving the theater spared no praise for how great the movie was."

Having completed its red carpet and world premiere screenings at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival, the movie "The Assassin(s)" will greet domestic audiences in theaters on September 23.
