A wild raccoon wandered around the Guri Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, prompting firefighters to be dispatched to capture it.

According to police and fire authorities, a report was received at 10:12 a.m. on September 16 stating that a raccoon had appeared at the Guri Police Station in Gyomun-dong, Guri.

When firefighters arrived and tried to catch the raccoon with a capture net, it darted around various parts of the police station before hiding under a parked vehicle.

The raccoon then fled toward the armory and became trapped in a narrow space between building walls.

Firefighters used a tranquilizer to capture the raccoon and released it back into the hills behind the police station.

No one was injured during the capture process, and the raccoon reportedly suffered no major health issues.
