Group i-dle member SOYEON's solo title track "I'm gonna TOESA" (Narr. Kian84) has risen to the top of the Melon TOP100 chart.
On the 17th, SOYEON took to her social media story after hearing the news, unable to hide her astonishment as she said, "Oh, number one? Thank you so, so, so much."
Previously, SOYEON made a pledge that if the song reached number one, she would do a "vegetable buffet mukbang." Known to dislike vegetables and having even dropped the "I Hate Vegetables Song" last month to express her firm tastes, fans are already bubbling with anticipation for her fulfillment of this promise.
"I'm gonna TOESA" (Narr. Kian84) is the title track of SOYEON's 1st studio album "What a Wonderful Life," released on the 7th. With its familiar yet warm melody and honest lyrics, it has resonated widely as an "office worker anthem," steadily climbing upward since its release. After securing top spots on major domestic platforms—ranking 6th on the Melon TOP100, 2nd on the Genie real-time chart, 2nd on the FLO chart, and 4th on the Bugs real-time chart as of the 15th—it has now claimed the number one spot on the Melon TOP100.
The song is also generating a hot response on social media. Amid growing buzz surrounding challenges conducted with Lee Sang-min and Kian84, it ranked first on Instagram's trending audio chart and fourth on YouTube's weekly popular songs chart. It also swept consecutive number one spots on YouTube's popular rising music, daily popular music video, and daily shorts popular songs charts. In the Greater China region, it achieved "Double Gold" certification by topping QQ Music's bestseller digital album comprehensive daily chart and Korean music video chart, while also taking first place on the Tencent Music Korea chart.
