Recently, secondhand trading websites have seen a series of posts reading, "Selling leftover packaging," and "Even the scent is still lingering."

The prices listed ranged from 50,000 won up to 100,000 won, and posts even appeared offering paper cranes folded out of the packaging wrappers.

At first, netizens were baffled, asking, "Why would anyone pay money for packaging wrappers?" However, claims subsequently emerged that this is actually a workaround method to sell the glutinous rice cakes rather than the wrappers.

In fact, the platform in question prohibits the secondhand trading of food items such as glutinous rice cakes, for which expiration dates are difficult to verify.

As there were similar transactions disguised as selling only packaging containers back when Dubai chewy cookies were trendy, speculation is rising that this is once again a workaround post to evade sales restrictions.
