A fire broke out at a film manufacturing factory in Chujadong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 6:40 p.m. today (September 16).

Fire authorities, dispatched after receiving a report from an official that a fire had broken out at the factory, deployed 42 firefighting vehicles and 102 personnel to suppress the blaze.

As a result of the fire, a man in his 30s who is a factory affiliate suffered burns and was transported to a hospital, though he is reportedly not in life-threatening condition.

Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire once it is fully extinguished.
