The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) announced today (the 16th) that it held a launch ceremony at SVC Seoul in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to mark the inauguration of "Everyone's Startup Community" (hereinafter referred to as the community), a platform where entrepreneurs can share experiences and resources.

Taking into account feedback from the field highlighting the need for opportunities to share early-stage startup concerns with senior and peer entrepreneurs, the ministry established the community to provide a foundation where founders, challengers, and venture capital firms can communicate and grow together.

During the launch ceremony, the future direction of the community and operational plans for detailed programs were unveiled.

The community will operate through three main programs: the "Club Created with Seniors," where veteran entrepreneurs pass down their know-how; the "Club Created Together," where peer challengers exchange feedback; and "Community Events," where members of regional startup ecosystems build networks.

Attendees on this day previewed upcoming programs and participated in roundtable networking sessions to share mutual interests and startup concerns.

Following the launch ceremony, the ministry will sequentially host regional "Community Events" in Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan from the 18th to the 20th.

Applications for the community programs can be submitted via the Everyone's Startup website.

Cho Kyung-won, Director General for Startup Policy at the ministry, stated, "We will establish a culture where diverse startup ecosystem participants communicate, creating an environment where starting a business takes root as a 'challenge we take on together.'"
