Actor Kim Hye-ja is set to attend the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) with her new film "Still Shining".

On September 15, the producers of "Still Shining" announced that director Song Il-gon, along with actors Kim Hye-ja, Park Seo-kyung, Choi Ju-eun, Moon Seong-hyun, and Lee Seyoung, will attend the 31st Busan International Film Festival, while also revealing the schedule for the film's world premiere.

"Still Shining" tells the story of Sun-ok, who reunites 60 years later with her best friend who shared the most brilliant moments of her life. This marks Kim Hye-ja's return to the silver screen nine years after her film "Road" (2017). The film has been officially invited to this year's BIFF "Korean Cinema Today - Panorama" section.

This will be Kim Hye-ja's first-ever attendance at the Busan International Film Festival. Although her 2009 film "Mother," directed by Bong Joon-ho, was invited to the festival, she did not attend at the time.

Premiering worldwide at BIFF, "Still Shining" is expected to create special moments with audiences through official events starting from the opening ceremony. The film is generating high anticipation as the cast and crew will engage in various conversations with moviegoers through an outdoor stage greeting at the Busan Cinema Center Roof Theater on Thursday, October 8, a pre-screening stage greeting and GV at Lotte Cinema Centum City Hall 5, and another GV at CGV Centum City Hall 3 on Friday, October 9.

"Still Shining" is scheduled to be released in theaters in October.
