President Lee Jae-myung is presenting a custom-made golf putter as a gift to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, who is visiting South Korea on the occasion of the first Korea-Central Asia Summit.

Cheong Wa Dae announced on Wednesday (September 16) that President Lee held a summit with President Japarov and presented a customized golf putter from Gold Five, a domestic premium golf putter brand.

In celebration of the opening of the first international-standard golf course in Kyrgyzstan this past July, President Japarov's name was engraved on the bottom of the putter.

President Lee will also deliver red ginseng products, a quintessential South Korean health food, wishing for President Japarov's good health.

For the first lady, considering the Kyrgyz custom of gifting traditional musical instruments during visits by foreign leaders, a craftwork of the haegeum, a traditional Korean musical instrument, will be presented.

Prior to the talks with President Japarov on this day, President Lee also held a bilateral summit with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and presented gifts reflecting Central Asian cultural elements.

However, specific details of the gifts were not disclosed, as the Tajik side wished not to make public the items exchanged between the two sides.
