As the Ministry of Education addresses the recent system outage during the rolling university admissions application period, it has announced that it is considering the cancellation of applications suspected of being newly submitted after checking the competition ratios.

The ministry explained that it is proceeding with follow-up measures based on the principle that unfair cases will not be tolerated.

It was confirmed that a total of 17 universities among those that extended their application deadlines disclosed their competition ratios at 6:00 PM, which was the original deadline.
