The Coast Guard has launched an investigation after a female body was discovered in Ganghwado, Incheon.

According to the Incheon Coast Guard, a report was filed with the police at around 7:10 AM today (September 15) stating that a body had been found near Derimipogu Port in Gangun-gun.

The Coast Guard believes the body belongs to a woman in her 50s who recently went missing from the Incheon Bridge, and is currently verifying her specific identity.

It was reported that workers collecting marine debris in the port area discovered the body and notified authorities.
