Today (September 15) felt even more like autumn with high, blue skies stretching across the country.

Tomorrow will also feature clear skies nationwide, just like today. For the time being, as the country remains under the edge of a high-pressure system located over the northern East Sea, wide temperature gaps will occur across most regions, with the exception of the east coast.

In particular, temperature differences will be extreme tomorrow.

Morning temperatures are expected to drop significantly, with Seoul starting at 14°C (57°F) and Gapyeong in Gyeonggi Province falling to 9°C (48°F), bringing some areas in the central regions below 10°C (50°F).

As temperatures will rise sharply during the day, creating a wide daily temperature range, proper clothing is advised to prevent catching a cold.

Meanwhile, fog is expected to develop across inland areas from early tomorrow morning through the morning hours.

In particular, visibility in southeastern Gyeonggi Province, southern Gangwon Province, North Chungcheong Province, and northern North Gyeongsang Province will drop to as low as 50 meters, requiring caution for morning commute traffic safety.

The fog will gradually clear as the sun rises, leaving the air clean and the skies clear.

However, brief, light rain is forecasted for mountainous areas of Jeju Island tomorrow.

Looking at detailed temperatures, morning lows will be 14°C (57°F) in Seoul and 11°C (52°F) in Chuncheon, similar to or slightly lower than today.

Daytime highs will climb up to 28°C (82°F) in Seoul, 28°C (82°F) in Daegu, and 30°C (86°F) in Gwangju.

Rain is expected to begin in Jeju starting this coming Thursday, expanding to the eastern coasts on Friday, and continuing through Saturday in Yeongdong and Jeju.
