At around 5:40 p.m. today (Sept. 15), a city bus collided with a passenger car and overturned into a rice paddy on a road heading toward Anjung near the Gilum Intersection in Gireum-ri, Oseong-myeon, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

The accident left 17 people injured, including three bus passengers who sustained serious injuries.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, believing that the city bus and the passenger car, traveling in the same direction, collided while attempting to cross the center line and overtake an excavator ahead of them.
