Justice Minister nominee Kim Seung-won addressed allegations surrounding him during his opening remarks at the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing today (September 15), stating, "I am sorry for causing concern to the public due to allegations related to me."

Nominee Kim said, "While reflecting on that responsibility and preparing for the hearing, I looked back on the path I have walked and where I fell short."

He added, "Today, I will answer the committee members' questions faithfully and explain in detail anything that differs from the facts."
