Kim Seung-won, nominee for Minister of Justice, stated in his opening remarks at the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee's confirmation hearing today (15th) regarding the suspicions surrounding him, "I apologize for causing concern to the public due to the suspicions involving me."

Nominee Kim said this, adding, "Reflecting on that responsibility while preparing for the hearing, I looked back on the path I have walked and my shortcomings."
