Director Christopher Nolan's film "The Odyssey," which has surpassed 10 million moviegoers, has maintained the top spot at the box office for over 40 days.

Released on August 5, the film continues to draw a steady stream of audiences and hold the top spot even after clearing the 10 million milestone.

This marks the longest run at number one for a foreign film released in South Korea since 2010.

As of yesterday afternoon (September 14), the cumulative number of moviegoers for "The Odyssey" stood at 10.82 million, placing it sixth on the all-time box office hit list for foreign films in Korea.

Taking second place at the box office is the Hollywood horror film "Obsession".

Its cumulative audience reached 470,000.

The film tells the story of a couple who become lovers after making a wish on a wish-granting stick called "One Wish Willow".
