"No Prior Contact or Staging": Producers of "Moo No Plan 4" Strongly Deny Fabrication Allegations

The production team of the MBN variety show "Moo No Plan 4" has drawn a firm line against recent allegations of pre-staging raised online.

On the 13th, the production team of "Moo No Plan" posted a lengthy official statement via their official social media, stating, "Recently, content differing from the facts regarding the restaurant casting for our broadcast has been spreading through articles and social media."

The production team strongly refuted the claims, stating, "Based on some online comments and unverified eyewitness accounts, reports are being made as if the program pre-arranged restaurants or staged situations in advance, but this is not true. Prior to filming a restaurant, we do not contact the restaurant or its owner in advance to negotiate filming, nor do we notify them of the cast members' visit beforehand. This is a production principle we have consistently maintained since the inception of the program."

They continued, "We express our regret that some recent reports quoted online comments or individual speculative claims without verifying the facts with the production team, portraying it as if fabrication or staging by the program has been confirmed. Moving forward, we will continue to produce the program in accordance with the production principles we have maintained so far, and we will actively correct the facts when necessary regarding the expansion and reproduction of unverified content as if it were true."

Following the release of this statement, cast member Chun Hyun-moo also showed support for the production team's response by pressing the "like" button on the post.

Previously, following a fabrication controversy surrounding certain scenes of the MBC show "I Live Alone," on which Chun Hyun-moo appears, unverified eyewitness accounts spread across online communities claiming that the "Moo No Plan" production crew had entered a restaurant before business hours to film in advance, raising suspicions of pre-staging for this program as well.
