The Fall Series, which offers spots for next year's PGA Tour, kicks off this week.

Following the conclusion of the regular season and playoff events, the PGA Tour holds the Fall Series to give players in the lower tiers of the FedEx Cup rankings an opportunity to improve their standing.

The Fall Series consists of a total of eight tournaments, with the first event being the Biltmore Championship, which starts on the 17th (Korea time) for a four-day run at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove (par 71) in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.

This newly established tournament features a total purse of 5 million dollars.

The primary goal for players competing in the Fall Series is to finish within the top 100 of the FedEx Cup rankings and secure their PGA Tour cards for next season.

Even players currently inside the top 100 must climb into the top 60 if they want to qualify for two high-stakes signature events with massive prize pools early next season.

Noh Seung-yul will also compete in the Biltmore Championship in pursuit of returning to the PGA Tour next season.

This year, Noh has played in four PGA Tour events, making the cut twice, with his best finish being 18th at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

On the Korn Ferry Tour, the secondary circuit, he has competed in 17 tournaments and made the cut eight times, recording lackluster results.
