South Korean national team forward Cho Gue-sung, named to the first roster under manager Moreno, delivered a standout performance with two assists, leading FC Midtjylland to their eighth consecutive unbeaten match to start the season.

Midtjylland secured a dominant 4-1 victory against Brondby in the 8th round of the Danish Superliga home match held today (the 15th) at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark.

Extending their unbeaten streak to eight matches to open the season (5 wins, 3 draws), Midtjylland (18 points) maintained second place, putting pressure on league leaders FC Copenhagen (7 wins, 1 loss, 21 points) with a 3-point gap.

Cho Gue-sung started as an attacking midfielder in Midtjylland's 3-4-1-2 formation, while recently loaned Hong Hyun-suk was left off the roster.

Midtjylland took an early lead just one minute into the first half when Rasmus Kristensen scored the opening goal.

Continuing their offensive momentum, Midtjylland found the back of the net again in the 23rd minute of the first half, highlighted by a brilliant penetrating pass from Cho.

Receiving a pass from midfield, Cho slipped the ball through the legs of opposing defender Jordi van Leverinkhuizen near the right side of the penalty area, which Stanley Iheanacho collected and fired home with a right-footed shot.

Having recorded his first assist, Cho shone once again in the second half after their lead was narrowed to 2-1.

When a cross from the left flank was deflected and rolled toward the center of the penalty area, Cho rushed forward and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot.

Cho's shot headed toward the lower right corner of the goal, and Iheanacho, positioned right in front of the net, slightly redirected it with his right foot to score the sealing goal.

Iheanacho netted a multi-goal game, while Cho recorded a multi-assist performance by setting up both of Iheanacho's goals.

Cho has now accumulated 2 goals and 2 assists in official matches this season (2 goals in the UEFA Conference League playoffs, 2 assists in the regular league).

Midtjylland completed the 4-1 rout with a goal by Magnus Jensen in the 44th minute of the second half.
