The national baseball team, aiming for its fifth consecutive Asian Games title, has assembled.

Kim Do-young, who injured his nose while attempting a bunt, has pledged to deliver a stellar performance.

In particular, he says he will no longer be dropping down bunts.

Having returned yesterday (September 13) just four days after undergoing nasal bone surgery to put on a three-hit show, Kim joined the national team today without even wearing a nasal guard, promising a strong showing in both offense and defense.

For the time being, he says he will absolutely not attempt any bunts.

The national team will hold its first training session tomorrow, play a practice game on Thursday, and then depart for Nagoya on Friday.
