The film 'The Drama', which garnered significant attention as producer Kim Tae-ho's first distributed movie, has surpassed 50,000 total viewers nationwide within five days of its release.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated box office ticket computer network tally on the 14th, 'The Drama', which opened on the 9th, mobilized 53,631 viewers nationwide through its opening weekend, ranking fourth at the box office.

'The Drama' is a rom-thriller film about a happy couple preparing for their wedding who confess hidden secrets about their past, sending their dream wedding week spiraling into an unpredictable week of chaos.

The film drew keen industry interest as TEO, the content studio led by producer Kim Tae-ho, ventured into its first film distribution business. Producer Kim also drew attention with his active promotional steps, such as personally attending the film's press and distributor preview to promote the movie.

Produced by A24, 'The Drama' became a major topic of discussion upon its North American release due to its somewhat provocative setup and subject matter. Starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya, two of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood today, the film has surpassed 130 million dollars at the global box office.
