Group THE BOYZ, whose activities were temporarily halted following the termination of their exclusive contract with their previous agency, has signaled a fresh start with a new music label.

78 RECORDS announced on September 14 that it has completed its corporate establishment and will exclusively manage the group activities of THE BOYZ members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, JUYEON, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and ERIC. 78 RECORDS stated, "We will fully support THE BOYZ's group activities and maintain close cooperation so that the members' intentions and direction can shine even brighter."

78 RECORDS is a label established by industry experts who have accumulated extensive experience in discovering and nurturing artists, as well as overseeing music and content across major entertainment companies such as Kakao Entertainment.

The label will be led by co-CEOs who have spent over a decade alongside THE BOYZ, guiding them from their casting stage through their debut and major activities during their peak years. Based on their deep understanding of the artists and their shared history of creating pivotal turning points for the team—such as winning Mnet's Road to Kingdom and finishing as runners-up on Kingdom: Legendary War—they plan to operate the label with dedicated expertise.

An official from 78 RECORDS stated, "Having been with THE BOYZ for a long time, we deeply understand the values the members hold dear and the direction they wish to pursue. Above all, we know how much THE B has trusted, waited for, and steadfastly stood by the group." The official added, "We will communicate closely with the members to show through great music, performances, and content that the wait and support were not in vain, and we will provide robust support so that THE BOYZ and THE B can create many more moments together moving forward."

Starting with stable support for THE BOYZ's group activities, 78 RECORDS plans to prepare for a new journey shared by THE BOYZ and THE B, while sequentially carrying out full-scale operations, including the official launch of the label and the discovery of rookie artists.
