Just as the race nears its final moments, a dog suddenly dashes onto the track.

It narrowly weaves its way through the fast-galloping racehorses.

Running right underneath a racehorse weighing around 500 kg, it narrowly avoided being trampled in a harrowing moment.

Fortunately, the dog managed to dodge the horses and safely exit the track, and none of the jockeys were injured.

British racing authorities are investigating how the dog managed to get onto the track.
