The suspect in the Paju freezer warehouse murder case will be handed over to the prosecutors today (14th).

The Gyeonggi Bukbu Provincial Police Agency plans to transfer the suspect, a man in his 30s surnamed Shin, into custody today.

Shin was arrested on the 4th on charges of murdering a woman in her 60s at a freezer warehouse in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

Police believe that Shin, who is burdened with over 1 billion won in debt, committed the crime with premeditation for financial gain.

Police are also continuing their investigation by booking a gift certificate broker who connected Shin and the victim on charges of forging securities.
