The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will host "Enter-Tech & GES Seoul 2026" around the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from September 17 to 20.

The event allows visitors to enjoy contents such as K-pop and games all in one place.

First, virtual reality (VR) performances that make it feel as if K-pop artists are right in front of the audience, along with hands-on experiences where visitors can create their own idol characters and music, will take place.

The group FIFTY FIFTY has been appointed as the promotional ambassador for "Enter-Tech Seoul," and stages by artists belonging to SM Entertainment can also be experienced in 360-degree VR.

On September 19, a showcase event featuring eight rookie artist teams from small and medium-sized entertainment companies based in Seoul will be held at DDP Art Hall 2.

The event is designed to help rookie artists gain attention by having overseas performance promoters hold preliminary consultations with entertainment agencies before the performances so they can directly check the actual stages and competitiveness of the artists.

In the gaming sector, visitors can explore works that reinterpret Seoul's landmarks as game content using artificial intelligence (AI), and experience zones where they can directly play globally popular games will also be set up.

Various indie games from small and medium-sized developers can also be experienced, and the city plans to support their promotion and marketing by establishing a joint pavilion for large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The "SPP International Content Market," which connects overseas content industry figures with domestic content companies, will also take place around the DDP from September 17 to 18.

Hyejeong, Director General of the Creative Industries Bureau at the Seoul Metropolitan Government, said, "I hope you will come and directly enjoy the new experiences where content and technology meet throughout the DDP this coming weekend."
