A family of three fell into the sea near the Mysterious Sea Road in Uisin-myeon, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, around 1:50 p.m. today (September 12).

As a result of the accident, a 4-year-old son and his mother were transported to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.

Additionally, an 8-year-old son was taken to the hospital showing symptoms of hypothermia.

The Coast Guard believes the accident occurred while they were playing in the water and is currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
