Bayern Munich, playing without the sidelined Kim Min-jae, secured a dominant, high-scoring victory in their opening Champions League match. Musiala, who collapsed due to seizure symptoms during a match last month, announced his full recovery by scoring his first goal of the season.

Musiala completely erased fans' concerns in his return to the starting lineup for the Champions League opener against Bodo, having been diagnosed with neurological dysfunction after suddenly collapsing due to consecutive seizure symptoms during pre-season matches last month.

Breaking the scoreless deadlock in the 2nd minute of the second half with a powerful turning shot, he scored both the opener and his first goal of the season. He then celebrated by pointing to his head with his finger, seemingly alluding to his recent seizure scare.

Musiala was substituted to a standing ovation from the fans after playing 66 minutes, and manager Vincent Kompany celebrated his healthy return with a warm hug.

Bayern put on a scoring clinic, netting all five goals in the second half.

Harry Kane scored a header to record goals in eight consecutive Champions League matches for just the fourth time in history, while Davies thrilled the home crowd with a thunderous long-range strike.
