At approximately 5:40 PM today (September 11), a report was received that a fire had broken out on a 29-ton vessel in the waters off Wido Island in Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

Upon receiving the report, the Coast Guard dispatched a patrol boat operating nearby and promptly rescued all 10 people on board.

No casualties have been reported so far, and the Coast Guard is currently conducting firefighting operations.
