President Lee Jae-myung's state approval rating has fallen from the previous week, breaking its lowest record since taking office.

According to a poll conducted by Gallup Korea from September 8 to 10 among 1,000 adults aged 18 and older nationwide, positive evaluations of President Lee's job performance stood at 38%, marking a new low since his inauguration.

This is a 2 percentage point (p) drop from the previous week's survey.

Responses indicating that he is "doing a bad job" remained unchanged from the previous week at 51%, while "opinions withheld" stood at 11%.

The most common reason for positive evaluations was "diplomacy" at 19%.

This was followed by "economy and livelihood" at 13%, "doing well overall" at 6%, and "communication" and "job capability/competence" at 5% each.

"Real estate policy" and "working hard/making efforts" each accounted for 4%.

The most common reason for negative evaluations was "real estate policy" at 24%.

This was followed by "personnel appointments" at 16%, "economy and livelihood" at 10%, "moral issues/avoiding personal trials" at 6%, and "doing a bad job overall" at 4%.

Gallup Korea analyzed, "Mentions of personnel issues as a reason for negative evaluations increased further," adding, "This suggests the fallout from the personnel selections for ministerial nominees ahead of confirmation hearings."

In party approval ratings, the Democratic Party recorded 38% and the People Power Party 29%.

Support for the Democratic Party remained unchanged from the previous week, while the People Power Party dropped 1%p.

The Reform Party registered 3%, the Rebuilding Korea Party and the Progressive Party 2% each, and the proportion of respondents with no political affiliation stood at 26%ിയത്.

This survey was conducted through telephone interviews using randomly sampled wireless virtual numbers.

The sampling error is ±3.1%p at a 95% confidence level, the contact rate is 46.7%, and the response rate is 9.4%.
