A sitting judge has been caught by police while driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Seoul Seocho Police Station is investigating Judge A of the Seoul High Court on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

Judge A is suspected of driving a vehicle while intoxicated on a road in Seocho-gu, Seoul, at around 6:00 a.m. on the 9th.

Police were dispatched after receiving a report about a vehicle suspected of drunk driving and apprehended Judge A.

At the time of the arrest, Judge A's blood alcohol concentration was reportedly at the level for a license suspension.

There were no casualties resulting from the drunk driving.

Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.
