Singer IU has released a new single after a year.

It is reportedly a track that will be included in her upcoming sixth full-length album.

IU released her new digital single 'From This Star' yesterday (the 10th).

The release features double title tracks, 'From This Star' and 'Dear My Crazy Soulmate'.

IU wrote the lyrics for both songs herself, and they are said to be featured on her upcoming 6th regular album.

The music video for 'Dear My Crazy Soulmate' was also released yesterday.

It drew attention as IU appeared as a police officer, alongside veteran actors Kim Young-ok and Na Moon-hee.
