Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun), a former member of the group BIGBANG, has been sued for special assault.

The Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced that it received a complaint on August 26 asking for Lee to be punished on charges of special assault.

A police official stated, "An investigation of the complainant has not yet taken place," adding, "We cannot confirm the specific details."

The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.
