KIA's Kim Doyoung was diagnosed with a nasal fracture after being hit in the face by a batted ball while attempting a surprise bunt in a game against NC yesterday (September 9).

Kim underwent a closed reduction of the nasal bone last night and is currently recovering, with plans to be discharged tomorrow (September 11).

With only 11 days remaining until the opening game of the Asian Games, it is anticipated that he will be able to participate in the tournament.

Both KIA and the national team are closely monitoring Kim's recovery status.
