A comprehensive set of measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of visitors and minimize traffic congestion at Incheon Family Park during the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
The Incheon Metropolitan City government announced that all facilities within the family park will operate normally during the holiday period, and the opening hours of the columbarium will be moved up from 8:00 AM to 6:00 AM from the 24th to the 26th.
On Chuseok day itself, from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, general vehicles—with the exception of funeral hearses—will be completely restricted from entering the park. To alleviate inconvenience for visitors, 10 free shuttle buses will operate along routes circulating inside and outside the park that day.
In addition, to help resolve parking shortages, the athletic field of nearby Jeil High School will be opened as a temporary parking lot from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM between the 24th and the 26th.
Incheon Family Park, a public funeral facility, houses 220,000 memorial facilities including a crematorium, burial grounds, columbaria, and natural burial sites.
