Independent Representative Han Dong-hoon met with reporters at the National Assembly on the afternoon of the 9th regarding criticisms from the Democratic Party that he fabricated a transcript concerning Justice Minister nominee Kim Seung-won's alleged lobbying of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, stating, "If you want to attack the speaker, try harder." Regarding the suspicions surrounding nominee Kim, Rep. Han remarked, "The essence of this matter is 'Oppa,'" and targeted Democratic Party lawmakers by saying, "It seems that those with backgrounds in room salons are primarily leading the criticism against me." Rep. Han systematically refuted the Democratic Party's criticisms for about 17 minutes.
