Recently in Italy, growing security concerns have been sparked by a series of incidents involving immigrants.

A male immigrant went on a rampage in a downtown area, leading citizens to subdue him directly.

On a downtown street in southern Italy, a man is seen acting menacingly with a metal rod in his hand.

He swings the iron bar at passing vehicles and smashes right into a car's windshield.

He also aggressively thrusts the rod toward pedestrians.

The man turned out to be a 29-year-old immigrant from Ghana.

As the dangerous situation continued, one citizen first stepped up to block the man, and soon other people nearby rushed in to overpower him.

Four citizens were reportedly injured in the process.

Following the incident, the mayor of the local area requested authorities to take immediate measures to deport the man.
