Professional football club Ulsan defeated Seoul with a spectacular diving header by Shim Sang-min. By halting Seoul's consecutive winning streak, Ulsan kept alive its slim hopes for a dramatic championship comeback.

Ulsan engaged in a fierce battle with away team Seoul from the first half.

In the 24th minute of the first half, Kim Jin-su threatened Ulsan's goal with a sharp left-footed free kick that narrowly missed, and in the 38th minute, Lee Dong-gyeong's powerful left-footed shot was blocked by Seoul's goalkeeper Gu Sung-yun.

It was Shim Sang-min, brought on as a substitute in the second half, who broke the tense scoreless deadlock.

In the 38th minute of the second half during a counterattack, Lee Dong-gyeong delivered an accurate cross into the box, and Shim Sang-min, rushing into open space, shook the net with a diving header.

This marks his second career professional goal and his very first K League 1 goal in 12 years since his debut.

With this victory secured by Shim's winning goal, second-place Ulsan narrowed the point gap with league leaders Seoul to 15 points, keeping alive their slender hopes of a come-from-behind title win.

Meanwhile, Incheon secured a comeback victory against Bucheon, powered by the performance of their foreign players, jumping to sixth place.

Trailing 1 to 0 in the 43rd minute of the first half, Mugosa leveled the score with a powerful left-footed shot, and in the 25th minute of the second half, Ivića sealed the victory with a left-footed volley.
