Singer Eru, who returned after facing controversy over drunk driving, has celebrated his 21st debut anniversary.
On the 7th, Eru took to his social media to express his gratitude to fans, writing, "September 7, 2026 marks already my 21st debut anniversary. Time really flies. As I get older, I become more and more sorry to you guys. I am simply thankful to the many people who continue to support and encourage me until the end. I will work even harder in the future to repay that love. Thank you."
Eru previously made his return last July, about four years after facing controversy over drunk driving.
Back in September 2022, Eru drove under the influence, hitting a guardrail and crossing the road to crash into the median barrier, which resulted in his vehicle overturning. At the time, he also faced allegations of switching drivers after falsely stating that a passenger was driving. In March 2024, the appellate court upheld the original ruling sentencing him to six months in prison suspended for one year, stating that "the defendant is reflecting on his wrongdoing and has confessed to all criminal facts."
